These cookies do not require baking and need only a few minutes to set in. Most of the ingredients will most probably be available in your pantry. So just get them out and whip these delicacies together.
- 3 cups quick oatmeal (Uncooked)
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup salted butter
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp butter
In a large bowl, pour some quick-cooking oatmeal and set it aside. Roll out some wax paper onto your counter.
In a medium-sized pot, add sugar, salt, butter, and milk. Turn up the heat at medium-high.
Keep stirring as the butter melts and bring the mixture to a boil. Allow it to boil for a minute and then remove from heat.
Pour this warm mixture over the oatmeal in the bowl and stir well until smooth.
Then scoop dough and drop about a tablespoon on wax paper. Continue until you’ve used all the batter.
If you want, gently smash down the cookies with your hand.
Add chocolate chips and butter in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave it in 20-seconds interval until the chocolate is melted. Make sure you stir after each interval.
Drizzle melted chocolate over the cookies.
Allow the cookies to cool completely and serve.
