The Secret Moscow Mule Recipe

Before you freak! out. Let me tell you something this recipe has nothing to do with “Mules” or “Moscow”.
Actually Moscow mule is a drink made with vodka, ginger beer and lime juice. Before we get any further please have at the image below.

Yes! this is how it will look after you prepare one for yourself.
Moscow mule cocktail is the perfect gift for the summers. It’s so refreshing that it will blow your mind. It’s my personal favourite.
The question that surrounds your head is, ” If there is nothing like ‘mules’ or ‘Moscow’ in it then why the heck! is it called so ?”
Well, no need to scratch your heads anymore: The answer is here,” It all started in 1941. A woman named Sophie Berezinski immigrated from Russia to New York along with her father carrying a burden of about 2000 copper cups, her aim was to sell them here in the U.S .
She tried really hard but all her efforts were in vain. Until one day when she met Jack Morgan who was the owner of a pub and was trying hard to introduce his own ginger beer brand to the world.
Then everything changed they (3 people) created a perfect combination of vodka and ginger beer with the solid copper mug that kept it cold and enhanced its aroma.
Rest is History.…..

I can understand most of you are skeptical even now and are thinking, “What is the taste of this drink? Is it Spicy or Salty?”
When I drank this delicious cocktail for the first time in a friend’s house the only thing coming out from my mouth was ‘ WHAT A MASTERPIECE ‘.
It had a balance of spice, sweet and had a strong sensation. Plus the chilled and aromatic feeling from the copper mug was just spell bounding. I couldn’t resist myself than to ask for another one.
Ok, so now you know about the magical taste of this delicious drink.
Let’s make it.

Why Did I Choose To Write About It?
Yesterday I was just sitting and watching netflix when my friend Dave called.
“Hey buddy What’s up!” Dave said.
“Well, just fine what about you!”, this was my reply.
We talked for about an hour and by that time I just asked him , ‘so what’s special today? ‘ He told me, ” Ah! Jack you know how much I love cocktails so just made the finest one – Moscow Mule”.
‘OMG! how could I miss such a fine drink’, I jumped out of my sofa and said, “Dave, you are the best!”
Damn! and all these days I was just having the lemon drop shots.
So then today morning I made one for myself and the taste was just amazing.
I thought, “WHY NOT SHARE WITH OUR BLOG BUDDIES” and here I am writing one for you all.

The recipe is easy but you must look at the following points for creating the perfect one:
- Make sure you are using branded ginger beer. Don’t go for the cheapest one otherwise you might end up ruining the taste.
- The same goes for vodka. Pick a quality one.
- Make sure you use fresh lime juice as it also plays a huge part in the taste.
- Try to use copper mugs as the heart of this recipe lies in the container you serve. The copper mug makes it seem extra cool, aromatic and refreshing.
- Make sure the copper mugs you are using are good means they don’t have copper inside them.
Tell me in the comments how your Moscow Mule cocktail tasted.
