Easy and Delicious Pineapple Stuffing Recipe
Pineapple stuffing is one of my favorite side dishes because of its taste and also it only requires 5 things.
Pineapple stuffing is a sweet dish that is made up of pineapple, bread, butter, sugar and eggs.
As I always give variety in my recipes–Similarly, I would provide 2 different ways to make this amazing dish. So let’s get started..
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- 6 white bread slices cubed(Crumbled) in bits
- Drained Crushed Pineapple
- Salt (Optional)
Take a bowl and put butter, sugar and salt. Now cream them together, you can use the electric mixer for it.
It may take 4-5 minutes for the cream to become fluffy.
Now, crack 4 eggs and put it in the mixture that we created in step 1.
Remember to crack egg one at a time and then mix it and then add the second one and similarly the third and the fourth one.
Then keep on mixing it. The mixture may look somewhat like this:
You can see that our mixture is really soft and mushy. Now we need to add our crushed pineapples to the mixture. This makes the mixture sweet and moist.
Ya! Almost done….Now we need to add our last ingredient i.e cubed bread pieces to the mixture. (Use the white bread for getting the best taste)
Now put this beautiful mixture into a greased baking dish and bake uncovered for 1hr at 350° F (simply, bake it till golden brown).
Can Pineapple Stuffing Be Made Ahead?
This is one of the most asked question, “Can pineapple stuffing be made ahead?”
The answer is ‘ YES, You can make it the night before and cover it with a foil and store it in the refrigerator. Then, before serving just put it in the oven and heat it for an hour.’
